There really isn't a lot to say about this eyeshadow's packaging. Its bland and doesn't feel very sturdy. The pan of eyeshadow is placed in a black base, covered by a clear, domed lid that flips open. The lid features the company logo. A label on the back of the product offers the shade number and a full ingredient list.
Shade 6 is really nice, much better quality than Shade 5. Shade 6 has a smooth texture and blends very nicely. This isn't the most pigmented eyeshadow that I've worked with, it needs to be packed on over a primer or base to achieve it's full potential. Makeup Academy's Shade 6 eyeshadow is fallout free. I've previously experienced very poor wear from Shade 5, so my expectations for Shade 6 were pretty low. This single eyeshadow blew Shade 5 out of the water! It lasts all day without creasing or fading.
Shade 6 is a very pretty green turquoise with a soft, frosty finish. In the pan, Shade 6 looks to be very cool and blue based, and it is when applied in a concentrated way, but when sheered out you can see a touch of yellow in it. I actually really like to wear Shade 6 as a wash of color all over the lid.
Makeup Academy's Shade 6 Pearl Eyeshadow is good! The texture, wear, and blendability are a big improvement on the other Pearl finish Makeup Academy shadow I've tried. This turquoise shade is very pretty and trendy for spring. If you want to try a greenish turquoise shadow for cheap and have access to Makeup Academy, Shade 6 is a great choice.
